This year's edition of the Symposium will be held as a fully virtual event from 18-20 November 2020.
Since the moment we decided to move the conference online, we invested our efforts in the setting of an excellent virtual platform that would turn all contents into a truly interactive experience for the participants, easily accessible from any place around the world.
This choice has proved to be truly successful, as we received more submissions than any previous edition of SUM! Paper proposals have been submitted from 40 different countries all around the world, attesting that recovering resources from waste and promoting a circular economy is of the utmost importance in today's society. The daily programme of SUM 2020 is now richer than ever, with a newly added 6th parallel track featuring special sessions devoted to EU Projects, companies and poster discussions.
Our goal is to continue to foster the diffusion of scientific knowledge, by providing innovative solutions for sharing and presenting research works, best practices, case studies, as well as for networking and meeting with colleagues.
The virtual platform that will host SUM 2020 is provided by Conference Compass, a company specialized in online meetings, that works with the largest medical and scientific societies in the world, including Elsevier.
Through our platform, accessible from any device (phones, tablets and computers), attendees will be able to:
